PUTRID PILE "THE PLEASURE IN SUFFERING"

In late 1995, Shaun LaCanne joined Numskull and had a 5 year reign of terror with the likes of Tom Bradner (Guitar), Paul Benigno (Vocals), Mike Eisenhauer (Bass), and Scott Creekmore (Drums). We went through a couple of lineup changes introducing Mark Page (Bass), and later Ryan Schaefer (Bass). Due to some circumstances beyond anyone’s control, Numskull split up. Hence the birth of Putrid Pile. Frustrated with Numskull's breakup, I (Shaun) had to press on and be a part of the sickness that is the underground. Knowing already what I wanted, I immediately picked up a drum machine and started writing intense, sick and twisted guttural death metal. By the end of 2000, Putrid Pile had enough material for a 5-song demo. Early in 2001, Putrid Pile went to Mercenary Digital Studios to record the demo and entitled it "Bleed For Me". The first time it was ever released into public hands was at Milwaukee Metalfest 2001. It received a great response from the people who received a copy. Shortly afterwards Putrid Pile concentrated on live shows and getting as much publicity as possible. Putrid Pile continued to play gigs mercilessly and whore out free "Bleed For Me" demos to anyone who would take one in the US and around the world. The demo received many awesome reviews and continued to get a great response in the underground from bands, zines, webzines, radio stations and fans. Eventually, Putrid Pile caught the ear of United Guttural Records and signed a one record deal with them. After the signing, Putrid Pile went into strict writing mode. Writing a total of seven more songs, along with the five songs from the demo, to record the first full length, “Collection Of Butchery” to be released in early 2003. "Collection Of Butchery", is the sickest material that Putrid Pile has done to date with awesome artwork and excellent / professional production. In the future, Putrid Pile plans to have a full (human) band. Still keeping the intense and relentless drive of my original vision. The new material is a little more technical, then “Collection”, but still has the insane hooks of the old school death metal that fans of the band have come to know and love. There's no stopping Putrid Pile in 2003 and beyond. Be expecting to see awesome and intense live shows and many more full lengths to come!

CEREBRAL EFFUSION "SMASHED & SPLATTERED ORGANS"

After some shows CEREBRAL EFFUSION starts composing new songs for what is going to be their most brutal album done by now "Smashed and Splattered Organs" containing 9 tracks. July 2004, the band enters LAMIÑA PRODUCTIONS STUDIO to record their forthcoming album. After hearing different offers from some record labels, the band inks a deal with GOREGIASTIC RECORDS. "Smashed and Splattered Organs" will be finally released in 2005. Once the recording is done, Alain leaves the band, and Jabo from NUMEN, joins CEREBRAL EFFUSION.

CEREBRAL EFFUSION, A band coming from the Basque Country, started back in 1997 when 4 guys gathered up to compose some brutal death metal. Quickly they started composing new tracks and working hard on their first effort on the underground scene. Just a year later, October 1998, "Immortal Cemetery" came out, 1000 copies were printed, and the whole album was self produced and edited.

IMPURE "CORPSES... INTENSE STENCH!!"

The band was formed in 1994 and was in 1997 when we released our first album, "Acts of Contrition". That was a Thrash/Death Metal album which did not have a lot of repercusion in the death metal scene. It was published by "Sin Records" (Bilbao, SPA), and the actual formation does not want to make reviews on this album neither we play any songs of it in live.During same year (1997) the band was disolved due internal musical differences, being RAFA (guitar) with all the responsability of IMPURE. Three years later, others members joined the band, practicing a nearer style to current one, but in the following years the band will suffer diverse line-up changes, and was only in 2002 when this line-up becomes stabilized being formed by three murderours psychotics: RAFA (guitars), CUERVO (drums), PINTXE (bass & gutural, gruntsick vocals). In July 2002 this line-up recorded a promo-track to show the scene the great potential of the band, receiving very good reviews and a great acceptance in the scene. The band recorded in April 2003 an album titled "Corpses... Intense Stench". This album contains eight brutal, intense, fast and gore tracks without concessions plus a video-clip of the song "Sexual Eschatology". This album has been published the 15th November 2003 and re-issued on 19th April 2005 with new artwork by the label "Goregiastic Records" (USA) and distributed all over the world.

GOREINHALED - FETUS IN FETU

Goreinhaled was born at the end of 2002 in Majorca (Spain). It started by being a project of friends to want to do a group of brutal death, to a little time they separated and only they remained a drummer (Mauro) and a guitarist (Albis), which started composing their first songs. A few months they recorded their first promo track called Mutilated which had a good acceptance.
March, 2003 the band returned to compose new songs to record his first demo Carnivorous Chainsaw, in which there joined a bassist (El Chino), who a today is the current formation. In the middle of June, 2003, they extract the demo to improve itself in labels, fanzines, radio, etc ............ obtaining very good critiques.
July, 2004 recorded your first album called Fetus in Fetu, at the studios RSD from Palma de Mallorca. The cd contains 11 tracks, one of which is a version of the fathers of the brutal death, Suffocation..
August, 2004 they sign for the label Brutalized Records and your first album goes out to the market in October 2004.

HUMAN MINCER - DISCOGRAPHY

HUMAN MINCER were formed in 1996 by a group of friends with the purpose of making a Death Metal band. At first, they began making poor Thrash/Death and soon after, the lead guitarist and the vocalist left the band. After two years of rehearsing without a vocalist, they tried with a guy called Carlos that fitted very well for the style of the band. In 1999 HUMAN MINCER recorded a self-produced demo CD called "Grotesque Visceral Extraction" with Gore/Satanic lyrics influenced by American bands. It sold very well in the Spanish Underground scene. In 2001 Carlos had to leave the band due to personal problems, and Miguel (guitars) replaced him in the vocal duties. In September 2001 HUMAN MINCER recorded a new promo CD called "Putrefying Your Agony" released by the band themselves, with the help of QABALAH PRODUCTIONS. It includes three songs in a more intense, brutal and technical way. In April '02, their former vocalist Carlos returned to the band and they started to work hard on the final compositions for their debut album "Embryonized" that was later recorded in August of the same year, being released through XTREEM MUSIC in October 2002. In the begining of 2003 they started the composition of the new songs for the second full length. Finally, in September 2004, eight songs were made and they recorded them at the V.R.S. studios. The title of the album is "Devoured Flesh" and it was released through XTREEM MUSIC in January 2005. In summer of 2006 Antonio (bass) and Carlos (vocals) leave the band for personal problems, and Phlegeton (vocals from Wormed) and Guillemoth (bass from Wormed) join forces with HUMAN MINCER. The band has toured around Spain playing in all of spanish cities and they have appeared in some fests like "Ludwigshafen Deathfest" (Germany), "Steel Warriors Rebellion" (Portugal), "Trauma Fest" (Spain)... Actually they are composing new songs for their third cd, it will be released in 2007 with UNMATCHED BRUTALITY.

WACO JESUS - FILTH

Founded 1994 in Central Illinois by guitarist Kevin Menssen, these perverted musicians of death have developed into one of the most disturbing death grind commandos units known to mankind over the years – not only in terms of sound but also visually. Their absolutely sick covers put even hardened eyes to a severe test.

Hailing from Illinois, along with other acts such as Lividity and the cannibals Impetigo, it seems that this region is full of bizarre people. The strange band name Waco Jesus has no meaning but refers to a massacre committed February 28th 1993 by the Federal Bureau Of Investigation to a group of religious fanatics in Waco. The first demo was released and distributed by the band in 1995. After a few line-up changes the band recruited Lividity- axeman Dave Kibler and drumchaote Nick Null. After a few shows in the U.S. Waco Jesus signed to United Guttural Records, where the bizarre debut „The Destruction Of Commercial Scum“ was released. Then Dave Kibler left to focus on Lividity and in 2002 Nick Null died. Both were replaced with Johnny Baker on drums and Chris Sweborg on Guitars.

Now with a solid lineup Waco Jesus continues their series of attacks on human ethics – by the release of their second album “Filth”. Musically the guys from Illinois live up to their image: “Filth”, in parts an extremely fast manifest of disgust, offers severely brutal rhythms, manic psychotic growl/screech vocals and guitar work of morbid and abnormal styles.

SOILS OF FATE - CRIME SYNDICATE

SOILS OF FATE was formed in 1995 with a goal, to be amongst the elite in extreme music. Sweden has always been known for housing melodic/Black metal music and deathmetal legends like Entombed and Dismember. Mange(Guitar) and Henke(Vocals/Bass) had something else in mind. Fascinated by the extreme sounds from the US, especially the New York and Texas styles, they were greatly influenced by these bands which came to shape their style. With bits and pieces from the states and yet with the European touch they recorded a Groundbreaking tape, "Pain…Has A Face" demo -97. Lots of heavy parts and a groove that no other swedish band have ever had before. But they wouldn´t stop at that. A year later they recorded "Blood serology", again they raised themselves up a level in every aspect of their music. At this point record labels started to show interest. However, the band kept a low profile due to problems with band members and the fact that musicians were impossible to find. It would be over 2 years until "Sandstorm" saw the light of day. During wintertime 2000 they were contacted by Retribute records who succeeded where all other labels had failed, they came to an understanding and early 2001 "Sandstorm" was released. Seven tracks of pure Ultra Guttural Blasting Sickness plus two songs taken from their earlier recordings as bonus tracks. "Sandstorm" was a huge success worldwide and although the band was not 100% happy with the recording it still is one of the best albums in the genre. In late 2001 S.O.F took the opportunity to do a European tour, replacing Brodequin on a 5 week long tour with the Slovak maniacs Sanatorium. The tour was obviously a great experience for S.O.F, playing with Sanatorium and bands like Rotten sound and Synthetically Revived only inspired to raise the level of their musicianship both on and off the stage. In 2002 SOF released the their 2nd cd, CRIME SYNDICATE with KEVIN TALLEY (ex-DYING FETUS, SUFFOCATION, MISERY INDEX now with Chimaira) on drums and RUBEN ROSAS (DEVOURMENT) on backup vocals. At this time the band got the opportunity to play at the first MARYLAND DEATH FEST 2003. The reaction was amazing. SOF is now back with a new cd, HIGHEST IN THE HIERARCY OF BLASTING SICKNESS, a cd containing demos, unreleased tracks, and videofootage. Be sure to follow the progress of S.O.F as they´ll leave a mark of Ultra Guttural Blasting Sickness wherever they may appear.

MORGOTH - CURSED

Following a couple of quickly recorded but well-crafted (and well-received) EPs to start off their career, German death metal favorites Morgoth finally got the chance to record a full-length album in 1991's Cursed. Now expanded to a quintet, they entered Dortmund's famed Woodhouse Studios with longtime producer Dirk Draeger and cut nine new tracks, then shipped the master tapes to Los Angeles, California, for additional mixing by death metal authority Randy Burns. The resulting Cursed showed a steady stylistic progression from the band's early work, which, from its original impetus as Kreator-styled Teutonic post-thrash, had now become incontestably death metal. Both a blessing and a curse, this realization confirmed Morgoth's belonging within the new generation of metal talent, yet sacrificed some of the distinctive sonic traits that made them recognizably European in evolution (not just another Floridian death metal act). To wit, the dynamic diversity and melodic asides more prevalent in the European school only cropped up on occasion, lending an almost death/doom drag to winning tracks like "Isolated" and "Sold Baptism." Elsewhere, Morgoth seemed to be emulating Americans Obituary in an attempt to fit in, what with most new offerings (even standouts like "Body Count" and "Unreal Imagination") boasting greater complexity in their arrangements, lower guitar tunings for that bowl-rumbling death-effect, and deeper-pitched growls from vocalist Marc Grewe. But it's the act of book-ending Cursed with incomplete-feeling instrumentals (the intro/title track and repetitive closer "Darkness") that do the most damage to this otherwise very accomplished, if unspectacular, example of early-'90s death metal.

PITBULLS IN THE NURSERY - LUNATIC GOD

Pitbulls In The Nursery, a band made in Rambouillet, near Paris, are a force to be reckoned with. A vibrant mix of thrusting metal, musical mastery and groovy sounds. The result is pure alchemy! In 2001, they went professional, releasing their 3-track demo IMPACT, signed Alexis Phélipot. This marked a major turning point in the Pitbulls' career. On IMPACT, echoes of Dying Fetus, Death, Atheist and Meshuggah all combine to forge a unique PITN kaleidoscope of sounds. The initial run of 200 copies soon sold out. A further 500 were then produced, enabling PITN to fuel their publicity. PITN have clocked up over 50 gigs throughout Europe -35 in the year 2003-2004 alone. They have shared the bill with some of the greatest metal bands of the moment : Aborted, Gojira, Gronibard, Kaizen, No Return, Yyrkoon, Korum, Klone, Benighted, Trepalium, and played at prestigious venues such as : LA LOCO in Paris, L'USINE in Geneva. With this overwhelming success, the group are eager to do more gigs, bring their music to an ever-growing audience and deliver a show that is increasingly accomplished.
